Join the Little Women Read-Along in February

Picture from here.

Wondering what to read this February?

Join us for a read-along of Louisa May Alcott's best-loved classic, Little Women which follows the story of the four March sisters: Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy. This is one of the very first books I read while I was growing up (after Little House on the Prairie and Anne of Green Gables). I've read it a few times over the years, but not recently, so I am excited to be doing this challenge. Little Women takes a special place in my heart because it is about four girls and we are four girls in the family who bear several similarities to the March girls in the exact same order too!

For more details, head over to Suey's blog here. You can sign up to join there!

Here's the reading schedule:
Chapters 1-17 from February 1-10: Discussion post Feb. 10 on Suey’s blog
(Twitter chat Feb. 10 at 7:00 pm Mountain.)
Chapters 18-33 from February 11-19: Discussion post Feb. 19 on Kami’s blog
(Twitter Chat: Feb. 19 at 7:00 pm Mountain.)
Chapters 34-49 from February 20-29: Discussion post on Feb. 29 on Jenni’s blog
(Twitter Chat: Feb. 29 at 7:00 pm Mountain.)

Movie watching: March 4 or 5: We’ll let you know what day and what time as it gets closer. (Well, since I live halfway across the globe, I'll probably do the movie watching on my own.)

And if you want to join our discussions on Twitter and our live commentaries as we read the book, use this hashtag: #LittleWomenRAL. There are always so many wonderful insights that other readers pick up that we might have missed and we would love to hear your thoughts.
